Work through the reasoning, check your approach, and get an explanation that connects to your class. Your work stays your own.
MATHEMATICS. COMPUTING. UNDERSTANDING.
Personalized help with mathematics, programming, and cybersecurity. Bring your homework, your code, or the idea that has not clicked. Leave with a clearer understanding and a plan.

Big ambitions.
One understood idea at a time.
WHAT WE CAN WORK ON
The unfinished lab. The proof you cannot start. The exam that is getting closer. Your lesson starts with what you need to understand.
Work through the reasoning, check your approach, and get an explanation that connects to your class. Your work stays your own.
Debug your implementation, understand the error, review a design, and develop a test plan. Learn why the fix works.
Identify weak topics, practice representative problems, and build a focused review plan from your syllabus and deadline.
Preparing for a technical interview? Practice coding problems, explain your reasoning, and get feedback tailored to the role.
SEE THE IDEA WORK
Choose a subject. Work through one idea.
YOUR UNIVERSITY. YOUR COURSE.
Check our priority universities and courses. Your course is not listed? We can still discuss the topics you need.
Independent tutoring, with no university affiliation. Browse topics & learning goals or message on Wyzant.
Run the smallest case that shows the bug and trace the relevant variables.
Draw the objects, pointers, and lifetimes before changing the code.
Check edge cases and explain why the new behavior is correct.
Bring your question.
Build the understanding behind it.

WHAT YOU GET FROM THE LESSON
One difficult problem can depend on an earlier idea that has not clicked. We look at your attempt and trace the work back to the concepts it requires.
Years of teaching materials and software help connect those needs with explanations, examples, and practice. Your instructor uses that information to choose what deserves attention in the lesson.
See how we find where to focusYOUR WORKING PLAN
Review your attempt, ask focused questions, and identify the concept that needs attention.
Connect an explanation to your problem, code, or example. Check the reasoning as you go.
Use feedback, custom materials, and a targeted plan for the next assignment or exam.
WORK TOGETHER
Use familiar tools for your coursework, research, and projects. EduMentor, our tutoring service, keeps your session and resource links together.
Private repositories, review comments, and a clear history of what changed.
Draw memory, map an algorithm, or work through a problem on a shared board.
Develop proofs, equations, and technical documents together in LaTeX.
Your instructor shares your GitHub repository, Miro board, and Overleaf project in My workspace inside EduMentor. Keep projects private and share access exclusively with the people in your lesson.
WHY MAPPING OUR THOUGHTS?
Get personalized help with the math, code, and reasoning your course demands. Your lesson starts with your actual work and the point where you got stuck.
Find a lessonWork through the steps, test your reasoning, and understand why the solution works. Bring homework, a broken program, or a proof you cannot start.
From calculus and linear algebra to C++, algorithms, and cryptography, connect the difficult topic to the foundations behind it.
Know what to revisit, what to practice, and how to prepare for your next deadline. Use shared code, boards, and written work to keep the reasoning close.
More than a decade of teaching mathematics and programming, with a focus on the reasoning behind the solution.
Lessons begin with your coursework and the point where you need help. Work through a proof, debug a program, or prepare for an exam with patient explanations and a practical plan for what to do next.
Whether you’re preparing for an exam or technical interview, working through a difficult problem, or trying to build a stronger understanding of a subject, send me what you’re working on and where you’re getting stuck. We’ll start there and turn it into a clear path forward.

Know what a lesson includes, what to bring, and which rules apply to your booking.
Confirm your lesson arrangements with your instructor before booking.
Read all lesson policiesYes. Bring your assignment, your attempt, and the point where the reasoning breaks down. Get step-by-step explanations, code review, debugging, feedback, and practice with related problems.
Exam preparation includes reviewing concepts and practicing problems. Your submitted work remains your own; live-exam assistance and completing an exam for you are outside the service.
Your lesson rate is agreed with your instructor before booking. The tutoring pricing policy says payment is taken at the end of the lesson. If you are dissatisfied during the session, raise it with your instructor before payment.
Wyzant bookings: Wyzant handles its own rates, billing, and any platform fees. Its booking terms apply to sessions arranged there.
Direct tutoring: the EduMentor pricing policy says you will not be charged if you are dissatisfied during the lesson. Tell your instructor during the session. After payment is processed, sales are final and refunds are not offered, except where applicable law requires a remedy. This does not remove non-waivable consumer rights.
Wyzant: its Good Fit Guarantee covers the first hour with a tutor. Request the refund through Wyzant if that first hour is not a good fit.
Lessons booked through EduMentor: review the cancellation notice period before accepting the terms. Cancel by the exact deadline shown for your lesson in My bookings for no cancellation charge. Later cancellations and missed lessons are charged the full agreed session rate. Each confirmed booking keeps its accepted terms, even if the notice period changes for new bookings.
Lessons arranged on Wyzant: follow the terms agreed on Wyzant and contact your instructor there about cancellations. Wyzant terms do not replace the EduMentor terms accepted when booking through this website. Receiving a meeting link does not itself create an EduMentor agreement.
To reschedule an EduMentor lesson, cancel it and book another available time. The original lesson keeps its cancellation deadline. For an older booking, consult its recorded deadline and the arrangements originally agreed.
Send the relevant problems, course materials, project instructions, and your attempt before the lesson. Direct sessions are planned for 60 minutes on Zoom, with a stable internet connection and the software your course uses.
Arrange any session recording with your instructor in advance and obtain all required permissions. Your Zoom link is in My bookings when it is ready. When public EduMentor booking opens, confirmation and cancellation emails will be sent to you and your instructor through Amazon SES. Confirmations will include Zoom links when they are ready. Automatic reminders are not enabled. Until then, arrange lessons and confirm meeting details with your instructor through Wyzant.
The service includes a personalized learning approach, custom worksheets and materials, and feedback. A plan starts with your syllabus, current gaps, and next deadline, then identifies what to review and practice.
The interactive guide above shows sample plans. Your instructor refines the sequence around your work and goals; it is not an automated assessment or a promise of a particular grade.
